Snowboard Lesson - Hakuba Snow Sports

Hakuba Snow Sports run their lessons from the Goryu Iimori resort. It's a great place to learn and improve your confidence!

Group lessons are divided by skill level to ensure everyone gets the best learning experience! The lessons are divided into groups of 8 people per lesson. Make sure to be realistic when selecting your ability so the instructors can give you the best guidance. 

• Level 1 - First Timer: First time snowboarding? You'll learn the basics and how to slide, balance and stop, and turning if you're a natural!
• Level 2 - Control: You have snowboarded before and can side slip. This lesson will focus on stability on the edges of the board. 
• Level 3 - Learn to Turn: You'll learn to turn in both directions and link them to progress away from beginner slopes. 
• Level 4 - Explore the Mountain: You will learn how to ride steeper slopes and increase speed on gentler ones.  

Lessons start at 9:30am and finish at 12:30pm. You will need to use your lift pass and own/rental equipment for the lesson.

Goryu Iimori Resort is at one end of the valley please ensure you are factoring in travel time to get here on the resort shuttles. Please reach out to the Snow Machine team regarding any questions you have on the location of the lessons.
